My Story Page 58: Face to Face

Tackling an extreme emergency face to face takes us out of our mind as well as out of our body immediately within no time, and we are just left with an absolutely unconditioned mind and an absolutely un-fatigued body ready to look at the emergency straight into its eyes.
Now the question is that if an emergency can cause such a total change in the body so instantaneously, can it somehow be made a lasting one also?
Lasting for life!
Can a well-designed emergency solve our problems on earth?
We have to take it face to face. There is no other way it can be tackled in. It just turns us into our natural self.
And our natural self is healthy; in fact, very healthy! It is fast, it is sensitive, it is flexible, it is agile, it is open, it is relaxed and it is alert.
Our natural self dissolves all the dysfunctions of our acquired self in one single moment, whether of the body or the mind.
If it stays there for good!
That is only possible when our response to the impending emergency crosses a certain threshold, keeping the intensity of the response at a certain minimum level for a certain minimum duration of time.
We need to design an emergency for that.
The design needs to be such as threatens our unconscious mind even when the conscious mind very well knows that the emergency is not a life-threatening one as such.
Dug out of the deepest groves of our mysteriously irrational minds, all our unconscious fears just come on its surface and stay there for long.
They just make us feel every single moment of their presence over there that they are going to kill us the very next moment.
Until we come to terms with them and start taking them as facts and not as fears!
Now we can look at them into their eyes face to face, simply by opening our eyes full.
Can you open your eyes FULL (in fact, the fullest) right now?
Try it and check for yourself how soon you tend to close them half, the way they have been habitual of being kept all through your life.
The entire skull starts screaming within no time, for them to go back to their cozy, half-closed state.
How can such eyes look at the face of emergency into its eyes face to face?
Emergency does so and scares us to our death.
We avoid and escape.
No, let us give it a tit for tat.
As we do so, it stops scaring and starts smiling as if it was just kidding with us.
And it is a fact!
Eyes are the windows of mind.
The moment we open them full, we not only start realizing the futility of fear but also sensing the compassion of beauty much, much deeper.
Open the windows and the fresh air starts circulating, but to the coziness-loving nincompoop that we are, it feels like a storm and we immediately close the windows back again.
Only a real (or virtual!) storm can break them open for good!
How to create such a strong virtual storm that remains safe enough not to harm the windows beyond repair?
